Volunteering their help in community projects are second nature to the staff at Scope International Malaysia. Here are a list of some of the many activities they have been involved in.

On 23 October 2008, eighty five staff from Scope International Malaysia stepped forward to respond to the call to replenish diminishing blood supplies at the National Blood Centre. The blood donation drive was held at our offices at Menara LYL.

Staff of Scope International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Chartered Plc., United Kingdom, made their annual contribution of food supplies, household necessities and seventy schoolbags to the Taman Megah Handicapped & Disabled Children’s Home on 24 November 2008.

Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia and Scope International Malaysia jointly collected RM52, 628.50 to help victims of the Sichuan Earthquake. The donation was made through Sin Chew Jit Poh’s Foundation which will be channeled directly to the affected Chinese villagers.

15 GSSC KL staff participated in the Relay for Life event organized by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. Aimed to raise funds for cancer victims, “Relay for Life” involves a 16-hour walk/run in a stadium. Cancer survivors dressed in bright yellow t-shirts take the lead in the walk, followed by the other participants. This symbolizes that the care and support by the Community for cancer victims.
