KLGSSCare visited Rumah Kasih Sayang, a charity home for orphans, single mothers, poor
and disabled children as well as the elderly on 29 August 2009.
Prior to the visit, KLGSSCare had collected RM12,000 from GSSC KL staff. The Home was
given RM5000 in the form of a cheque for them to purchase much needed double-decker
beds, 20 mattresses, 2 large rice cookers and groceries. The remaining money was used by
KLGSSCare to purchase a refrigerator, 2 washing machines, 8 wall fans, 2 ceiling fans and 2
stoves for the Home.
Arif Siddiqui, CEO, Scope International Malaysia said, “We are delighted to share God’s
blessings with those in need during the month of Ramadan. We hope that our contribution
will help make a difference for those sheltered by Rumah Kasih Sayang.” He then presented
the items to Ustaz Zailan bin Hamid, the Advisor of Rumah Kasih Sayang.
