KUALA LUMPUR, 10 SEPTEMBER 2009 – Scope International Malaysia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Chartered Plc., United Kingdom, donated RM12000 to Rumah Kasih Sayang recently. Founded in 2005, the Home in Rawang shelters more than 52 orphans, single mothers, poor and disabled children as well as the elderly. Rumah Kasih Sayang was founded in 2005 by Ustazah Habidah Binti Abdullah.

Comprising donations from the staff of Scope International, the money was used to purchase a refrigerator, 2 washing machines, 8 wall fans, 2 ceiling fans, 2 stoves double-decker beds, 20 mattresses, 2 large rice cookers and groceries for the Home.

Ustazah Habidah Binti Abdullah, Principal, Rumah Kasih Sayang, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the generous donation from Scope International. It will be a great Aidilfitri celebration for the Home this year.”
